For those of you on Facebook there is now a Paul Wilkes artist/fan page through which Paul will be releasing a new song from his back catalogue every week for you to share, starting with songs from his first ever demos. Also on his new Facebook page you’ll find 2 brand new Pollen8 produced videos of the songs 'I'm so proud of you' and the big favourite track from his live sets 'It just clicked' www.facebook.com/PaulWilkes - be freindly! Paul will also be playing a couple of festivals over the summer, and there are more in the pipeline. ‘Whatfest’ in Northwich Cheshire, over the weekend of July 17th, 18th and 19th and ‘Summer In The Suburbs’ The Hive’s Riverside Festival in Winsford over the weekend 14th, 15th and 16th August.

June 2009 - BBC Radio Show Appearances
Paul will be performing live on BBC Radio Merseyside twice this week. He's on Billy Butlers show at around 2.30pm on Monday 1st June, and he's on Clare Hamilton's Show at around 6.30pm on Friday 5th June. You can listen live at http://www.bbc.co.uk/liverpool/local_radio

May 2009 - New Release Coming Soon
Paul is back with a new album that'll be released soon on iTunes. 'When It Comes Around' is an 11 track album, recorded over the last few months in a number of locations with friends. "The album is a collection of songs I have written over the last few years, some have been revisited and redone and the recording is relatively stripped. The idea was to create something in the moment and not to dwell on the recordings too much.. to put the song first. It's a personal record but I feel people will relate too it."

You can download a new track from the album here for free when you sign-up to the mailing list. Paul will also be doing Podcasts of live and new studio recordings once a month for those of you on the mailing list and there will also be a video on youTube.com soon of a live performance of Pauls last song 'it just clicked'.

Paul will also be back on the road shortly, solo and with his band; dates will be here as soon as we get them.

Jan 2009 - BBC Radio Live show to aired
Paul and the bands BBC Radio Merseyside live performance in Novemeber will be on air on Dave Monks 'The Pool' show on Sunday 4th Jan between 8 and 10pm. You can listen live at http://www.bbc.co.uk/liverpool/local_radio

Novemeber 2008 - Dates rescheduled
The London showcase and Debees gig have been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances. Paul and the band have rescheduled the London showcase gig and it will now be happening in Feb 09, details to follow...

Paul and the bands Radio Merseyside performance will be on air on Dave Monks 'The Pool' show on a Sunday evening before the end of the year, details to follow...

Finally Paul is to play last gig of year solo at his good-old favourite venue Debees, with Mark Morriss from The Bluetones.

Paul and the band are playing one of London's most prestigious showcase events at the famous Coben Club. It's defiantly one for you southerners to get along to and give Paul and the band some support on this one-off occasion! More details and full gig listings here...

August 2008 - 'Rihanna' used in 'Liverpool Music Today' Compilation Album

June 2008 - New September Live Date... Plus More TBC
on Friday 26th September Paul, the band and the string quartet will be doing a one-off show at the Liverpool Radio Merseyside Performance Suite. This is an invite-only event so please get in touch with Paul if your interested in coming along (paul@paulwilkes.com). It's definitely one you don't want to miss! It'll be getting recorded by the BBC to be broadcast later on in the year.
